Want to easily share files with people online?

Download the free software Dropbox. Its awesome and has versions for Windows, Linux, and Mac (as well as versions for cellphones such as the iPhone, Android, and the Blackberry). Just install it, and it will create a folder which you can drag and drop files into it that you want to share. Then just open the folder, select the files you want to share publicly, drag them into the nested Public folder. Next open that folder, select any file you want to link to, right-click, and in the drop-down menu that opens, select Dropbox>Copy Public link.

Now you can just paste the link somewhere on the web to give others access to the said file. That way you don't have to worry about uploading it to some website online, then have to login to find it later so you can get the link. And it makes for easier file grouping and organizing.
